Organic fertilizer manufacturer: contract manufacturing and private label

Contract manufacturing means having a specialist manufacturer produce your fertilizer, to your own formula or specification, and then selling it under your own name. Germiflor offers three services, and everything is produced in its factory in the Tarn.

Contract manufacturing, for manufacturers, agricultural merchants and cooperatives: we produce your formula, whether an organic fertilizer, an organo-mineral fertilizer or a soil amendment, using your raw materials and specifications, or ours.

Private label, for distributors, garden centres and brands: finished products under your name, in printed bags or buckets, with a minimum of 25 tonnes. Depending on your project, this is either the equivalent of a product in our range, such as our Germi’One® amendment, or an exclusive formula we make for you alone. We agree exclusivity and confidentiality with you at the quotation stage.

Custom formula, for farmers: based on your farm’s soil analysis, our technical team develops a formula suited to your plots. The minimum production run is 12 to 25 tonnes, depending on the formula.

We manufacture organic fertilizers, organo-mineral fertilizers and organic amendments, in powder form or as 5 mm granules. We have already developed more than 600 formulas in our factory, for vines, fruit trees, vegetables, field crops, green spaces and gardens.

Each formula can include Mazor®, our patented compost, or leave it out. It can be approved for organic farming (like 93% of our range), 100% plant-based and vegan, or enriched with magnesium, sulphur, iron or potash to suit its intended use.

The regulatory status is decided at the formulation stage: a fertilizer (standard NF U 42-001), an organic amendment (NF U 44-051) and a growing medium (NF U 44-551) are subject to different rules. We help you choose the right one for your product.

Germiflor is also a compost maker. Our Mazor® compost is the result of seven months of controlled composting with the patented Cronops® process: plant oilseed cakes, grape and olive pulp, coffee grounds and, depending on the formula, sterilized animal materials are transformed. Carbon is stabilized, the C/N ratio falls, pathogens are eliminated and the microflora develops. That is what sets a composted material apart from the same material in its raw state.

Added to your formula, Mazor® provides stable, living organic matter, with 1 billion micro-organisms per gram. We use it in our own products and offer it in those we make for you.

Our know-how goes back a long way: in Mazamet, wool used to be mixed with fruit pulp to make “le bourru”, one of the town’s first fertilizers. We have revived it in our Humiflor® Humomaze® amendment.

Our factory has an in-house laboratory and a sample library, and is approved as a composter and as a storage and blending operator (approval No. FR 81021129).

Depending on the product, our formulas can be approved for organic farming under Regulation (EU) 2018/848, 100% plant-based (vegan), USDA Organic or OMRI Listed. They can also be certified Qualité France by Bureau Veritas, like our Humiflor® Humomaze® amendment.
