Quality
Our productions and technical expertise
At GERMIFLOR®, our long history and technical expertise enable us to provide fertilizers of exceptional quality. Our commitment to quality begins right from the selection of our raw materials, where each component is predominantly sourced from the circular economy and carefully chosen to ensure consistent excellence. This technical expertise translates into products that offer unrivalled agronomic benefits, promoting soil regeneration, improving soil health and guaranteeing good harvests.
We understand that every soil and every crop has its own needs. That's why we're proud to be technicians in the field, listening to farmers and private individuals to understand their specific needs and advise them as best we can.
Our agronomy department enables us to provide precise recommendations, and develop tailor-made formulations adapted to the unique requirements and problems of each customer. We are supported in this approach by research laboratories. Soil dietetics is at the heart of our approach, and we believe that well-nourished soils are essential for quality harvests.
At GERMIFLOR® we are determined to support modern agriculture while preserving our environment for future generations.
Our commitment to quality and sustainability is reflected in every product we manufacture, ensuring that our customers achieve outstanding results in their crops. We are working on research and development projects that demonstrate how our products can increase the water-holding capacity of soils, contributing to a more responsible use of this precious resource.
Our research topics also extend to soil and crop health, and biological control through our products, their compositions and our patented CRONOPS® process.
At GERMIFLOR® we are determined to support modern agriculture while preserving our environment for future generations. For almost 50 years, we have also been a member of the UNIFA fertilizer family, which operates at national, European and international levels. We take part in working groups on standards and regulations, and sit on the Board of Directors.
Environment
Our environmental commitments
At GERMIFLOR® our commitment to preserving the environment is deeply rooted. Our flagship product, Mazor®, is the result of our circular economy approach, where each component is meticulously selected for its agronomic interest and to minimize our ecological footprint. By favoring this type of raw material and adopting a careful composting process, we reduce our environmental impact while promoting soil regeneration, which is of major agronomic interest.
With a high carbon content, every tonne of Mazor® and our products efficiently stores carbon in the soil, contributing to CO2 storage in line with the Kyoto Protocol, and increasing the organic matter content of soils, in line with COP21. We also invest in water management: all our composting and runoff water is treated and sterilized in-house, to ensure that the quality of our wastewater exceeds environmental standards.
On the energy front, we're reducing our carbon footprint through the ongoing adoption of more responsible equipment, including forklifts, LED lighting, variable speed drives, photovoltaic installations, and many other initiatives to promote energy efficiency and sustainability.
Our environmental approach also extends to responsible waste management. Aware of the environmental impact of packaging, we have set up procedures to recover and process all our baggage, especially big bags, in partnership with Soveea and Adivalor.
Every big bag used for our products is collected and processed for recycling into fruit and vegetable crates. At the same time, an eco-tax has been introduced to support the reprocessing of bags.
Recycling
Partners committed to Germiflor®.
These initiatives are part of a circular economy, where recycling helps to minimize our ecological footprint by reducing waste and giving materials a useful second life.
At GERMIFLOR®, we firmly believe that sustainable waste management is an essential pillar of our environmental responsibility and ethics.
